Help us improveIs
there anything on this site which doesn't work or which you think could be improved?
Please help us to get better. PS. One thing you may notice is that we use Australian English spelling. So we're sorry if you are from another part of the world where words like colour and organisation look strange to you, but we hope you can still understand us, despite the different spelling. |
Media release:For immediate release Avoid event disastersA comprehensive checklist "Hold the Presses! - Check these 59 things BEFORE you print your brochure" has been developed by Kerrie Mullins-Gunst at KMG Consulting especially for meeting planners and conference or event organisers. Available free of charge as a service for meeting planners, the checklist originated after Kerrie arrived at an event to discover the organisers had made a mistake with the date on the brochure, but couldn't inform some registrants of the correct date as they hadn't requested telephone details. "I was so disappointed to miss the event," she said "I went straight home and started to write down all the things I thought were important for a meeting planner to include on their brochure. When I got to 59, I started to see how it was so easy to miss something and I developed the checklist format." The checklist can be downloaded now, free of charge, from www.kmgconsulting.com.au and comes with a bonus weekly quick tip or useful idea, to help meeting planners hold even better events. With so many people now involved in organising special events, conferences and association meetings, it is more important than ever before to get it right first time.
