you, or to make a suggestion or report any problems you encounter.
PS. One thing you may notice is that we use Australian English spelling. So we're sorry if you are from another part of the world where words like colour and organisation look strange to you, but we hope you can still understand us, despite the different spelling.
Amidst the pressure of responding to the numerous varied, and often conflicting, demands which can be made on you during a crisis or any time of challenge, it is critical that you get your priorities right.
Just as your actions do, your public comments during any crisis should always reflect these priorities:
Don't allow yourself to be pressured into any discussion or consideration of the financial cost of an incident if any threat to people, or the environment, still remains.
Express your concern for environmental damage or social disruption rather than discussing plant, equipment or property loss.
Remember the PEPP rule and your priorities will not only be right, they will be seen to be right.
"Attempt easy tasks as if they were difficult, and difficult as if they were easy."
